Sargsyan Sos (24.10.1929, Stepanavan-26.09.2013, Yerevan) Armenian actor. People’s artist of RA (1972), USSR (1986), Professor (2003). He studied at Yerevan State Institute of Fine Arts and Theatre (1954). Later Sos Sargsyan began to perform at the Sundukyan State Academic Theatre of Yerevan (1954-91), he founded Hamazgayin (Pan-National) Theater. From 1992 he taught at Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema (rector, 1988-2005, Chairman of the Board from 2005). Sos Sargsyan was one of those actors who reached the inner impersonation without theatrical external vivid emphasis and emotions. See more.
