On December 11, 2019 the year-end meeting of the Institute of Armenian Studies took place at YSU Academic Council Session Hall. The summary of the results of scientific activities carried out by the IAS in the current year was on agenda.
In his speech, the chairman of the meeting YSU Rector, Director of the IAS Aram Simonyan touched upon the achievements of the structure, talked about the existing problems and shortcomings.
Afterwards, the heads of laboratories and departments of IAS (H. Avetisyan, V. Mkhitaryan, H. Bayramyan, V. Petrosyan, A. Yeghiazaryan ) presented short reports on the results of the work done.
The Director of the Institute summarized the results of the scientific activities and expressed his conclusions and recommendations. He also spoke about further actions and ways to overcome existing problems.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Aram Simonyan answered the questions of the employees.
