The book (co-author Enno Meyer) Between the Rhine and Araks: the German-Armenian Relations during 900 Years by Ara J. Berkian (co-author Enno Meyer) was introduced at YSU Institute for Armenian Studies on Spetmber 17, 2019.

The meeting-discussion was organized by IAS Department of Genocide Studies. The book was translated into Armenian by the author's widow, Lisa Berkian-Abrahamyan in 2016.
Director of the IAS, Doctor, Professor, Aram Simonyan, Head of the Department of Genocide Studies, Ph.D. Suren Manukyan, doctor, professor Ashot Hayruni, Armenologist, ethnographer Argam Ayvazyan and widow of the author Lisa Berkian-Abrahamyan delivered speeches.

Students of the Department of Genocide Studies, IAS staff members and guests also participated in the discussion.

The participants emphasized the extremely important value and significance of the book in the context of Armenian-German relations.
